Ver 1.73 beta
Some menu "OPTIONS" options act as switch - ON & OFF. For ex.: "Debug", "Auto answer", etc. Then it is ON state a little sign displayed near it.
The option "MESSAGE" is the same.
But there is no sign near it then it is ON.

You are right. But for the the message window option you get visual feedback - the tab for messages appears or disappears. But I can add that sign additionally. I will think about it.
