I tried to test ZRTP with another client and it worked ! But for this I had to disable SAVP (otherwise it didn't work). What is this SAVP ? And why should it be disabled for ZRTP ?

If SRTP should be negotiated, within SDP the parameter "SAVP" should be used instead of "AVP". Some peers doesn't like "SAVP" others need "SAVP" - so you need to configure it - depending of the peer (mostly a SIP server).

Today I uploaded a new version that loads "*.ca.pem" files from the application directory.

OS: Win XP (SP3)
PhonerLite: 1.86

May I ask which SIP (VoIP) provider you are using that supports TLS/sRTP?

I am currently using sipgate.co.uk, which does not support TLS/sRTP.

Many thanks in advance.

P.S. I was using Zfone (the application) but for a number of weeks the application has been unable to connect to their server. Have you, or anyone else, experienced this issue as well?

As long you only do IP to IP calls, you can try Antisip: http://sip.antisip.com/account/
That server supports TLS and SRTP - but you can't reach phones in the public telephone network.

Many thanks for the link.

I have signed up to antiSIP, and all is connected with no issues. But when I call sip:welcome@antisip.com I do not hear anything. If I call the same SIP No. using Emansip, supplied at antisip, then I can hear audio.

I have attached an jpeg of PhonerLite's stat page when the call is being made, and as can be seen, data is being transmitted but not received.

What is the issue here?

Do you have configured a STUN server or are you using a router that supports UPnP port forwarding? PhonerLite need to get the public IP-Address and port of your Internet access.

STUN server is specified as sip.goober.com.

What am I overlooking?

Many thanks in advance.

Maybe you are using a router using "symmetric NAT". Then STUN is useless.
But it works here without any STUN server too. Do you have configured any additional firewall on your PC? It seems to be a general NAT/Firewall problem.

I have configured COMODO firewall and router to allow both UDP & TCP in/out from 5060 - 5063 for use with antisip.com. Is this correct?

You should first try without any additional firewall. If this works, you can enable it again and try to configure some rules.

At last, success!

Many thanks for your help, and keep up the good work. Smiley

On a side note, even though I selected 'Check this if you wish to be notified of replies to this topic', not once did I receive an email notifying me that a response had been sent here.

You have not enabled general notification. Take a look at your profile options.

Why from application directory ? Why not just the phonerlite directory itself. The portability is breaking if you put in application directory. Please make it check in its own directory.

I mean with "application directory" the directory where PhonerLite is installed to - where "PhonerLite.exe" is located.
