Hi.

I'm testing PhonerLite but I'm having one problem with it.
When I make one call the softphone have one delay of 5 seconds before starting to call. This is internal call in a freepbx system and with other softphones they are almost instant.

I'm testing this softphone in two computers and one is ok and the call is made instant but in the other I have to wait the 5/6 seconds until I can hear the call sign.

The computer where this problem happens has Windows 7 and headphone Jabra 930. The other where it works ok has windows xp and one simple headphone.

The configurations in PhonerLite is the same in both computers.

Can you please check if the delay is related to your headset. Some wireless headsets needs some time if they are in standby. You can click on the microphone and speaker buttons above the volume sliders. The red crosses should disappear and you should hear yourself. Please do this without any call. Does this need this extra time? If it is so, it is because of your wireless headset.

Hi.
I do the test you suggest clicking in microphone and speaker buttons and I don't have almost any delay. In 1 seconds or less  I start to hear myself.

And with other softphones I test in the computer with this problem this delay don't happen.

You have configured a STUN server that is not available. Therefore a timeout occurs.
Your PBX is running in the same local network, so you don't need any STUN server at all. Just leave the field empty.
