Background tone and calls getting disconnected (Read 4664 times)

	For incoming calls, the incoming audio is accompanied by a background tone (continuous beep) through which I can hear the audio. After a few seconds, the continuous beep changes to high-pitched beeps with a constant frequency. Then the beeping stops and the call is disconnected after a few seconds. I don't have this problem with outgoing calls. Am I doing something wrong?

	If you answer the incoming call you hear the beep and the voice of remote party? I can't reproduce that here. Can you record a short call and send me the recording (wave file) by e-mail?

	Yes, I hear the incoming audio along with the beep. When the beep ends, it disconnects the call. I tried recording the call but when I listen to it there is no beep

	Please take a look at the menu Options/Ringing. Do you have activated "Beep" there?

	Then I don't know what beep can be heard. Maybe the ringing tone from the headset? Do you use a headset? You can disable ringing on headset in PhonerLite too.

	So the beep that I was hearing was the same as the beep that you hear when you pick up the phone before dialing a number (which goes crazy after a while if you don't dial and then goes away). I tried everything but the beep was always there when I had incoming calls and it would disconnect the call when it went away. Anyway, I downloaded the 2.49beta version and there is no beep with incoming calls anymore

	Great to hear that it is solved. That can't be the changes from version 2.49beta. The official version 2.48 should work too.
