Sennheiser headset ring notification

First of all, I would like to say that I really appreciate PhonerLite.

Everything works beautifully -- except for the missing ring in my (USB) Sennheiser Presence UC headset.

I found the following webpage that might indicate the problem: https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCve14078

The webpage indicates that Sennheiser USB headsets require an incoming "Ring" HID event, while the Cisco equipment referred to on the webpage only provides a "Ringer" HID event.

The solution proposed on the webpage was for the Cisco equipment to provide both the "Ring" and "Ringer" HID events.

The same problem might apply to my Sennheiser Presence UC USB headset.

Does PhonerLite provide a "Ring" HID event or just a "Ringer" HID event?

If it does not provide a "Ring" event, is it possible to modify PhonerLite so that it provides both the "Ring" and "Ringer" HID events?

If so, I volunteer to test the modified program Smiley

Best regards,
Bruce

PhonerLite uses the "Ringer" and "Ring" HID event. It uses both of them.
Please check if you have enabled the "HID" option at "Options/Ringing".

Can you send me the content of the debug output right after an incoming call? You can show and hide the debug window at "Help/Debug" menu. All HID events should be seen there. Please send me the content by e-mail - not here in the forum.
