Hello,
I am trying to use Phoner Lite.
Incoming calls are working.
Outgoing call doesn't work : I dial a number. No noise is heard in my headphone. The Logbook starts displaying the duration, but the number that I'm calling doesn't ring. After 32 seconds the call ends with message 408: Request Timeout.
I have tried with Phoner: same behaviour. 
I have tried with a few other clients like Mizuphone, X-Lite, etc.. they work, but I would prefer to use Phoner Lite. Any idea ?

I can't tell you whats going wrong without any trace or debug output. There seem to be no response from your SIP provider.
Please start PhonerLite and try one call. After that open the debug window (show/hide via menu "Help/Debug"). Send me content by e-mail - not here in the forum.

The first call message is answered for authorization, but further messages are ignored completely by your SIP server (Asterisk?). Maybe there are some UDP fragmentation issues. The SIP message is quite large. So can you please deactivate some audio codecs in PhonerLite and try again (don't forget to save!)? If that doesn't help, try to use TCP instead of UDP. 
On your Asterisk console you should see some error outputs. Maybe you see something "interesting" there.

Thank you for your reply. I have disabled most of the CODECS.
I have kept only the a-law, u-law, and DTMF.
And the outgoing calls are now working fine.

Thanks for the feedback.
I still assume that there are problems with UDP fragmentation done by your router or any device in the middle. I can send UDP messages that are larger than 1500 bytes here using my IP router to my SIP provider in the Internet.
