	Hi I am wandering how we can use the external applications to start a whatsapp chat once connected to the inbound call. i see you have external application in phonerlite and there is a whatsapp url scheme so it would be great if we could open the whatsapp web page using it . I am sure someone clever here knows how to structure that external application . Heike , i think this could be a good suggestion for phone to have built in too ? I.e. open a whatsapp chat from a number in the address book

	That is not supported. You can create a phonebook entry and put an URL into the comment field. That assigned webpage will be displayed internally. This was introduced for opening the URL from an IP camera (at the door). There is no further support for further features with HTML.

	Its a good feature no? both on level of replying to customer call as it connects - hi we are making contact while we help you and also imbedded into phonebook automatically for subsequent text chats

	Take a look at "Options/external applications". You can put there the name of an application that should be started for a special event. This called application gets the number of the caller as first parameter. With that information the application (that is not my task anymore) can do what ever it wants - e.g. opening a special website.

	OK i have it working . Is there a way to make it work only for inbound calls?

	There is an entry for "incoming call". If you need the information for connected state but only incoming calls, you have to to call an external application for incoming state. That application needs to remember that, so if it is called again for connected state, it knows it was an incoming call.

	can you give an example I am using connected external - applications : connected call only and loading a simple batchfile *.bat with url to %1

	I am no expert in batch programming. But you can call a different batch file for incoming call and create a temporary file within this batch file. In your batch batch file for connected state you can check the existence of such file. In disconnect state you can delete the temporary file.
