Hi!
Once more, greetings from the Vogtland area.
After reinstalling PhonerLite on my new laptop, I "just" wanted to offer an observation, and I'm still a major admirer of the app.
I am asked to select the audio devices to utilize at the very end of the initial setup process of PhonerLite.  I went with the Plantronics headset (USB connection) as that's how I often make calls.  Unfortunately, following that, PhonerLite would either initialize very slowly (at least 30 seconds), stop responding completely, or leave me with no audible dial tone when I made a call.  I erased all data associated with PhonerLite and uninstalled it when I was unable to access the sound settings in the operating system. This included the directories C:\program files x86\phonerlite\ and C:\user\<me>\appdata\roaming\phonerlite.
After a reboot, everything is back to normal, and that's because I "only" chose the default entries for the audio devices during the reinstallation.
Hopefully this will assist with any future errors that may arise, even though I am unsure of what went wrong.

You can chose the sound devices all the time by clicking with right button at the recording or playback button (above the volume sliders) in PhonerLite. You don't have to delete configuration for this.
