Bluetooth mic not working in Phoner on Windows 11

Hi everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with Phoner after upgrading to Windows 11 (23H2). The app connects to my SIP account and I can make and receive calls normally, but my Bluetooth headset microphone is not being detected during calls.

The headset works fine in other applications like Zoom and Discord, and the microphone is fully functional there. However, in Phoner settings, I only see the built-in laptop microphone or “default device,” and it does not switch to the Bluetooth mic even when the headset is connected.

What I have already tried:

Re-pairing the Bluetooth headset
Setting the headset as the default input device in Windows sound settings
Reinstalling Phoner
Switching between DirectSound and WASAPI audio modes

None of these steps solved the issue.

Is this a known compatibility problem between Phoner and Bluetooth audio devices on Windows 11, or is there a way to manually force Phoner to use the Bluetooth microphone during calls?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I stopped development for Phoner since years. But PhonerLite is actively supported.
Give PhonerLite (lite.phoner.de) a try.
