Hi,
I am using Phoner for many years now as answering machine on my ISDN line in the Netherlands, and it is working perfectly. So: thank you!
For the last months I am getting annoying creditcard marketing phonecalls from the USA. Somehow my phone number is added to a list that is used there
Now I am trying to filter those incoming calls, to reject them.
From version 1.76 wild cards are supported in the phone book, which I want to use to filter.
This is what I have tried up to now:
Added an entry "USA" in the phone book with as Country code "+1" and as Number "*", and as setting "Always reject".
This should reject all calls from the USA. However, there are two problems with this:
1) It looks like all calls from numbers that are not in my phone book are now rejected, so not only calls from the USA, so apparently the Country code is not taken into account?
2) I would like to filter in more detail: all those calls up to no have the following format: "+1 xxx000xxxx" so with three zero's in the middle. I would like to use a wild card such as "***000****" or "???000????" but this does not work. So my question is: what are the possibilities for wild cards in this case?
