Can no longer dial **extension

Hello, Mr. Sommerfeldt, it has been awhile since I visited your forum!  I have been using PhonerLite for some time now.

However with the last couple versions, something is different.  I used to use **2536 to access my voicemail, but now when I dial that, PhonerLite immediately kills the call.  In the logbook, that call is recorded as a 404, but this used to work a month ago, and it works fine if I dial the same number with another softphone.

Any clues?

This is a bug in the SIP implementation of your provider. The sign "*" is no valid char in an URI and therefore must be escaped. But I have to live with such crappy peers, therefore I changed that in the actual version. So now PhonerLite sends "*" unescaped - thats wrong but I have to live with that...

But it worked fine a couple of versions ago.  Has something changed in Phoner?  **2536 is an internal extension.

Hello!  I saw a new version appeared on PortableFreeware(I get an rss feed from there) and now the **extension works just like it used to! Smiley

Thank you so much, Mr. Sommerfeldt!  I'll say a Hail Mary for you!
