Skypemate is some kind of middleware that translates the USB events (e.g. button press) fo some special softphones - in most cases Skype. I have no influence in this software and therefore I can't do anything for that.
There are USB devices that are supported by PhonerLite right now. See here: http://www.phonerlite.de/general_en.htm

I use VM01L mouse-phone with the eyeBeam v1.5 (through the X-TenMate driver).
Very convenient.

Any chances you could support it in the PL?

That device should be supported by PhonerLite. You have to set this device as the recording device in PhonerLite.

It is supported as a sound I/O, but not as a dial pad etc.
When I dial a number on it - nothing is translated to the PL. The tray icon (the "X" letter) stays red.

This is the driver, X-LiteMate v1.0.0.5, that I'm actually using (there was a wrong name in my first post).

I have such device here and it works great.
I don't need a special driver for Skype or X-lite. It should work out of the box.

Hmmm...
Searched everywhere in the UI, could not find anything relating to the keypad.

The only things I can see are the tool-tips at the mic and speaker icons - both have the "USB device" ticked.

PL v2.11 does not accept an input from the VM01L's keypad, neither it hangs (disconnects) a call when I close the VM01L's lid.
What is wrong here?

I had such device a year ago and it worked. The question is, if your device has the same vendor and product id. Maybe you can tell me the vendor and product id of your device. You should see this in the device manager and the properties for this device.

This is what I see on the "USB HID compliant device"s:
USB\VID_04B4&PID_0407&MI_03\6&37Fee7FF&0&003

Does this help?

Exactly this I wanted to know. Thanks.
The IDs are matching. So I don't know, why it doesn't work. I have to look, if I find that device again to check for my own.
You are running Win7?

Now I found that MousePhone device. It works here without any problem. The display shows all call information and all buttons are detected.
Sorry, but I can't tell you whats wrong in your environment. I am using Win7 (x64 and x32) and the device's name is "Mikrofon (3- USB Audio Device)" shown by PhonerLite. I am using a German Win7, but the name in brackets is the one that should match the name of the HID device.
