Windows versus Bluetooth on mobile phones

Hello, everyone.

For some reason, I used to believe that all Bluetooth gadgets were exclusively dependent on Bluetooth technology. My phone headset, which contains mute, answer, and other buttons, works great and has a fair range. However, on my PC, this headset is virtually useless—missing controls, restricted range, and so on.

Could you please clarify this in more detail? Bluetooth on mobile phones and Windows PCs appear to be distinct concepts.

If you have a problem with Bluetooth devices on Windows in general, you are not right here. In this forum only PhonerLite related topics are discussed.
