Does not work on 56K (US)

Hi!

We tried to get Phoner to work on a US ISDN-line.  After initial trouble with NT1 etc needed we got the line up. But the voice service was horribly bad.

After a lot of trouble we tested with RVS-COM lite and managed to find an option for 56K interface (instead of 64K).  Then everything worked flawlessly.

So I guess something is missing in Phoner (or not working)...

With best regards
Adam

Everywhere in the world except USA and Japan, the voice codec G.711 A-law is used. In the USA G.711 u-law is used instead. Phoner doesn't support this!
So it is no wonder, that it doesn't work for you.
Sorry, but there are no plans to support this codec in ISDN mode.
Phoner supports VoIP too, there G.711 u-law is supported!
