Can you guys recommend any good headphones?

Hi,

I saw the headphones thread by AdamD81 and it made me think of a problem I have.

I am using a set of sony iPpd headphones that I connect to my iPod, but when I play my drum kit (even quietly) I cannot hear the music even if the volume is on 100%.

No matter what (conventional) headphones I use I will get this problem as headphones usually use Phantom Power. This means that the speakers of the headphones are powered by the output voltage of the device they are connected to, so in my case if it is a iPod shuffle or a mobile phone they will never be loud as the output voltage is low.

I have heard that battery operated or wireless headphones can counter this problem as they usually contain their own power supply.

Can you guys recommend any good headphones?

Thanks

I am using a Jabra GN9300e and it works very well. I don't have much experience with other solutions.
