Encryption used for password

Hello,

I want from my helpdesk application automatically configure PhonerLite by writing to the file sipper.ini.
But as the password is encrypted, it does not work.

I want to know what method of encryption is used to change my setup function automatically. Is it possible?

From my research, it is not the MD5 cryptography.

Thank you

MD5 is just a hash algorithm. There is no way back from a hash value to the real password.

If you want to create your own sipper.ini you can save the password in clear text. You can create a key called "password" instead of "PWD", e.g. "password=mysecret".
