How do you make direct IP to IP calls

There is no explanation of how to do this online or help. Please describe in detail how to configure and make IP to IP calls. Can this be done without enabling multicast DNS ? I know both IP addresses before hand and they don't change.

Just type that IP address as destination address. If you are using a profile with a configured SIP server (Proxy/Registrar) you have to change that profile or use a new profile. The field "Proxy/Registrar" must be empty, else the request is always sent to that address. You can use most servers by putting the server address in the "Domain/Realm" field. Then you can enter a number or a SIP address. If that address doesn't contain any IP address or domain, that "number" will be concatenated with the configured domain. So it is up to you if you are dialing a complete address or just a number.
You can dial the following addresses:
  • IP-Adsress: "184.125.186.187"
  • domain: "server.domain.com"
  • SIP address: "user@server.domain.com" or "sip:user@server.domain.com" or "user@184.185.186.187" or ...

I have multicast DNS turned on on both sides, but I don't see any neighbors page. Where to look for this neighbors page ?

Multicast DNS only works within the same LAN. Are both PhonerLite instances within the same LAN?

Yes. They are and I could make a call etc. by manually putting the number@ip:port

I am using local port different from 5060 to avoid conflict.

Please put a screenshot of this new page that shows up, in the help page of the website.

It is not a real killer feature - so I don't want to do extra screenshots in the help. The more pictures are included the bigger the help file...

I checked it here and had no problems. Running two PCs in the same local network  - both running PhonerLite with enabled MDNS option - both show the other PC in the new neighbor tab.
If you configured on both instances the same username and the same domain/realm, then it won't work.
