Can I ask what friendly-scanner is ?

I have lots and lots of entries from friendly-scanner in the neighbours window even though I have unticked Multicast DNS. Also in the debug window shows lots of friendly-scanner entries.
Sometimes its like I'm being bombarded with constant traffic in my firewall when these
friendly-scanner events are happening.

You are scanned by someone from the Internet. The same happens since years for HTTP port 80. Now the same happens for SIP port 5060.
You should change the port from 5060 to a different port.

You should use any different port than 5060, e.g. 5070.
I am no expert with firewalls, but maybe you can configure your firewall in a way it stops such scans.
