Sending invite with wrong codec?

I am trying to make a direct call between phoner and another device. I noticed that whenever I try to use G726-32, the call is established but no audio can be heard and phoner shows:

in:---, out:G.726-32

I captured network packets to look at SIP negotiation. It seems that the invite from phoner is sent with G721 codec instead of G726-32 (please see attached).

Am I doing something wrong?

Take a look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G.726
Quote:
G.726 is an ITU-T ADPCM speech codec standard covering the transmission of voice at rates of 16, 24, 32, and 40 kbit/s. It was introduced to supersede both G.721, which covered ADPCM at 32 kbit/s, and G.723, which described ADPCM for 24 and 40 kbit/s.

I assume a different problem - maybe your firewall blocks incoming RTP.
